Participate in the 2010 BMP CHALLENGE

March 15th, 2010 - BMP CHALLENGE applications are now open for the 2010 growing season. Visit the the BMP CHALLENGE website today to download your application and start saving.

The BMP CHALLENGE consists of the Nutrient CHALLENGE and the Reduced Tillage CHALLENGE.  The program works in 18 different states throughout the United States, using locally recommended nutrient and tillage practices on corn-fields (for grain or silage).  Corn producers work with a crop advisor to determine their nutrient or tillage strategies, set up a check-strip and assess their yields at harvest.

The program compares conventional practices on a check-strip to the recommended BMP rates adjacent to the check-strip.

Applications must be filled out prior to any nutrient application or tillage applications.  Download the application by visiting the BMP CHALLENGE online for more information and forms.
